I've outgrown my own imagination and spent my youth on what was not yet needed. Maybe an escape will steal from the present the little bits of the past i've left behind. Here i'll be cheerful, imaginative and cheifly inconsistant. I might get gloomy though... Hopefully untied to myself.

Fermi's Paradox and it's insights outside of space-time
The jury is still out on the exact probability with which civilizations arise in a galaxy, but Fermi's paradox is a very true, and important question.
After science feels confident on a more precise estimate for the probability of the development of civilization, and we have either: evidence of other civilizations, or a more accurate calculation of what is expected, I believe the results may be used in connection with the Simulation Argument. That is: If we never find extra-terrestrial life, it should a strong argument to believe we are running inside a simulation.
Yes, I am aware fermi's paradox, and the simulation argument are rather orthogonal, but you must accept there is at least SOME interplay here.

I Love Life
Its amazing how reality can just dig deep into your bones and wrench existence itself up to the border of your skin, where it sizzles and raises your hairs to the tone of electrified stem cell marrow!
That delicate balance of breathing; of self-awareness, of being able to fight for confirmation of your own objective presence.
To me life is here for its own sake, existence is self-contained, each day is a self-endowed gift to be shared and cherished.
I live to fight, i fight to live, I live to think, I think therefore I am, and I am here to share myself, this glorious day, and this glorious life; no mater how short with who ever chooses to listen; and I will tell you this: I am in love with living, its an intoxicating experience to see the sun rise each day and fuel this greenhouse paradise of bonsai pets and thousand year old oaks!

Book Idea
I have an idea for a book:
Life, throughout death. A chain of events (though a thousand years) in which a begger's exists changed the future world as we know it.
Would you read it?

Why so quiet?
Children have a very clean unadulterated mode of argument.
There is a fine line between complexity and chaos... Maybe that is why we should always head the words of simple minds...
- Aunt, are you a girl or a woman?
- A Woman
- And, can you have children?
- Yes, but I don't want to right now
- Oh
This dialog with a child reveals an Aristotelian handling of logic. It also reveals how easily accepted new information becomes incorporated as truth.

How can 0.9999... be equal to one? Won't a little always be missing? "Embrace the power of infinity"...

Peter Reinhart: The art of baking bread
I simply loved the four ways to understand something. Oh god, we are such a dynamic species. Oh, there's even a mystical understanding towards bread baking. There are mystical interpretations to everything we do, isn't there.. :P even numbers: 7, 13, 21, 42, PI, PHI, E, I. The stars, the sky, the moon. It's all about mystically growing, and expanding ourselves. Cross references and cross pollination of thought. We are such a beautiful species.

Don't Panic
I haven't been able to sleep well, so I guess writing poorly is a rational continuance...
If the answer to life, the universe and everything were indeed 42, then all of our work, all of our love wouldn't be for any ultimate goal, but for the moments we shared with each other.
Every push and shove, our scientific achievements, every victory in war or politics; for no greater good than our own tranquillity, commodity or enjoyment.
There were always two ways to react to this line of thinking: either severe depression, loss of direction, even nausea; or ecstatic freedom and an alleviating sense of relief in knowing that doing your best and helping those around you is literally as good as it gets.
In choosing the latter, you would think there are less ways to go wrong... Just muster up as much love as possible, prepare the other cheek and go around listening to people, give them a helping hand and a shoulder to lean on.
This my friends, is indeed hard enough. Enough so that rumours live still today about the man who best achieved this feat being the son of a supreme being who was unfortunately later nailed to a tree for sharing this...
So some of us, who have a harder time being there, smiling, giving the other cheek, or simply have less comfortable shoulders, we have looked for other ways to share ourselves with others; and the ones we love, or wish loved us.
And we get there... We remember each other for very many different things...
We pick the things we're good at, and that is what we share... I'll try too, being a better self, to be loved.
To see the dawn, like today's, in the lives of whom we cherish most. To give them nice days and memories, and hope.
I wish I could never falter in sharing the dawn...

What do we live for?
What do we live for?
Any of us? All of us?
. Please read the whole article, its deeply moving.“How much do I owe you?” she asked, reaching into her purse.
“Nothing,” I said.
“You have to make a living,” she answered.
“There are other passengers”.
Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug. She held onto me tightly.
“You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,” she said. “Thank you.”I squeezed her hand, then walked into the dim morning light. Behind me, a door shut. It was the sound of the closing of a life.
How can someone who believes there is no ultimate goal, be so sure of himself measuring others? how can someone who thinks himself in-tune with the notion of the butterfly effect, even ponder an intent to measure?
How can we guess what is needed of us? How can we work for moments we never know might arrive? Ideas, we will never know where even worth achieving?
Who are we to say we are driven by a righteous ideal? How can we know?
Since we can't, we are blinded into trusting through faith; of any sort, not just religiously...
I wish I could help someone out as much as this man, or as my father. Trustingly, hoping somehow your actions take flight and fulfil other's happiness or dreams, not by oppressing others into doing things my way. (or any way I deem myself as righteous or correct; for who the hell am I?!) :(

Boltzman Brains

Philosotainment
As if the world doesn't have enough false prophets.... At least Scott Adams had the decency to fess up...
"I know my readers, and some of you will start squawking that I clearly believe every word I write, as evidenced by (fill in the blank with evidence). This philosotainment thing, some will say, is just a way to cover for my long history of embarrassing stupidity. That’s probably why only someone like me could invent philosotainment; I don’t mind that people think I’m a clueless goober as long as they enjoy themselves while thinking it."
