Is the universe three dimentional at human scales?

Materialists strike a deep blow to the idealists of philosophy?

apparently lightning is always seen. and I think it is very interesting that the very nature of the data that is being processed by our brains is enough to identify it... a collection of stimulated rods by electromnetic waves IS vision. Is the level at which we process information truely 3 dimensional then? If string theory proves correct, then the other dimensions are really folded into the ones we know?... Is it similar to our perception of a flat earth? How will a sapient being with extremely developed senses and a higher mind percieve his soroundings? What awaits us all?
